Maybe the LCI is better? Can anyone tell us of braking improved on high speed stops?

It is worse.

The previous 4 zone adaptive cruise manages braking very well. The LCI 3 zone adaptive cruise leaves more space and brakes less hard and has the takeover warning which appears quite frequently. In high speed close spacing traffic the 4 zone easily did it right. The 3 zone cruise is better turned off in such traffic and speed control done by the driver.

BTW the LCI 3 zone also accelerates slower from a stop usually requiring driver intervention to keep up with traffic flow.

Thanks for the break down here-

I would have thought Driver Pro would be better
