HRE FF10 wheels - BMW center caps?

I asked this same question in the X7 general forums, but figured I'd get more of a response here. I just installed HRE FF10s to replace the 21” OE wheels I had on my X7 (that was the only compromise I made on this CPO purchase). Definitely prefer the look - though in retrospect should have gone glossy, not matte - but not sure I like the aftermarket center caps.

In any case, I know I can measure the centers and get blank caps where I can use a custom made BMW sticker… but don’t want it to look or wear sloppy. Anybody have experience replacing aftermarket center caps with a BMW logo? Is a raised metallic sticker the only route, and if so, what’s the quality like?

I think the center caps are 63MM FWIW, but online I can only find BMW stickers in that size.

I got these from eBay for my 20 inch winter set. High quality and still look brand new after 2 winters.

Those look great - unfortunately not in the right size (63mm) for the HRE wheels, and doesn’t look like the seller has other sizes. So far I can only find decals in 63mm.

Sorry couldn't help. I wasn't familiar with the HRE wheels. Just looked them up. Wow. They make beautiful wheels.

I feel like I have to mention it every time I post a pic because I hated the manhattan green color until I saw it in person lol. I don’t like the “aftermarket rim” look, but I do like the pattern. If that makes any sense:

[QUOTE=tinfoiltuna;30871821]They look great! I had the FF04 on my last BMW.

What size did you go with?

Did you give HRE a call? They can likely help you locate them! I always ran the HRE center caps myself!

I appreciate it !

When I finally found a CPO’d M60i with all of the options I wanted, there was only one problem: it came with the the 21’s which are not my jam (I prefer larger). So these are 22’s

Haven’t called HRE, but I did email them a month or so ago before buying the wheels and never heard back. Maybe a call would be more productive.

Did you have aftermarket wheels on your X5/X7?

Totally understand, not yet for the X5. I have the 22” but I’m looking at. 22” square setup.

Looking at HRE like yours or Vossen.

Can you tell us your tire sizes?

The other options I was looking at were also Vossen - or the Savini SV-F4 ultra concave wheels.

Tier sizes are the OE staggered - 275/40/22 and 315/35/22. I was hoping to figure out a way to get wider rubber on there for a bit more aggressive look, but couldn’t find all-seasons that would work. I’m running the DWS 6 plus Conti tires.
