Hi all,

I bought 2023 X5 M-Sport with staggered setup and it does come with a spare tire:

• 275/25 R 22
• 315/30 R22

Note: this is my fist time owning a car with staggered setup and large wheels.

With such large and wide tires, I was wondering if the spare tire is usable or safe. Has any one used the spare tire? Is there anything I need to be aware in using the spare tire other than obvious stuff (e.g., spare tire should be use in the emergency situation and not in extended duration)?

Read the user's manual? There's a speed limit and caution when using a space-saver tire. If you drive things like normal, you're at risk...keep the speed down and allow a little more room since the smaller contact patch will have less braking and cornering capability. It will work at either end of the vehicle.
