X5 Wheel question from a slow adult

Can I change my 19" stock wheel from my G05 with 20" wheels from an F15 or other year X5. What are my limitations and what will fit without any alteration to the original setup. I have a 2019 X5 that I realize looks like a rental with the current wheels. Any advice would be appreciated.

I was told already that this will not work. Would my best bet be finding someone who is upgrading their wheels on their new car, or go aftermarket?

Could be either if you find a member selling their wheels, but F15 is a different bolt pattern so would not work. I understand it has been done with convertors that are like spacers but allow a change in pattern but is unlikely to have the strength of connection of an oem wheel.

Nope. F15 bolt pattern is different and will not fit on the G05. Search the forum for members selling wheels if you want to stick with OEM choices; a lot of take off are available and cheaper than from the factory. 740s, 741s, 742s, and 747s all look great, but be warned they may have non-run flat tires summer tires if you care about that. If yours came with 19"s those are run flat and you probably aren't equipped with a spare unless it was included in a custom build.

2018 and older = 5x120 lug pattern
2019 and newer = 5x112 lug pattern.

While much of the chassis was carried over from the older models.... I can say definitively that wheels, and the entire brake system (rotors and calipers, and the rear EPB) are completely unique to the G05.
