So the error was a front broken ride height sensor connector. Installer broke the tab and it came loose. Told them about rear awaiting that information on Monday. $245 for connector and install.

Thanks for the update, I was thinking it would have been an issue from installer. Curious about the rear as well.

Is the ride quality much better?

Not that I notice as of yet.
It's more stable on the road and car feels more absorbent of the bumps. Then again, driving on NYC roads, it's hard to give a proper observation....lol

First its not that simple of an answer... Two things really matter, your relationship with the Service provider (OEM, 3rd party certified), and if you are willing to fight legally if BMW refuses to warranty suspension components if one to fail.

I've talked with my SA, he has done warranty work with other vehicles with just springs replaced.. He said where BMW tends to draw the line is a full coil over replacement. Meaning you remove the OEM active dampening.

That being said there are a lot cases I'd have to dig some of them up where companies have refused to warranty, and court sided with owner. Meaning in the US a company who refuses to warranty OEM parts due to aftermarket accessories must prove that aftermarket part caused the failure. Its called The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act you can google that.

Look who is coming to play.
I love my MSS, will these lower the car any more?

Laws will be local outside of the US. In the US if you have a shock issue I would expect to be hassled by BMW and get charged for replacements. Beyond that there would be very little effect on the warranty.

I tried to source H&R while my MSS stocking orders were delayed.
But not available yet.

H&R sport spring is ideal if you don't care about the rake.
While H&R VTF or MSS will allow you to adjust the rake.
It just the VTF cost more while allowing to go lower, which is higher risk at shortening your shocks life.

My vote on solution to slamming is to go with full coilover.

BTW, my MSS stocking order just landed.
So, I'll post pictures on local customers ride that I'll be doing.

All fixed. Rear just had to be re-tightened. Ride is bumpier but initial stroke is softer than stock. Much better ride quality than the vtf's I had on the f85. That was way harsher.

Attached is the alignment sheet. Still has camber upfront. Question. Does this look ok?

Did they raise the car to meet the within spec tolerance? The alignment looks fine to me.

I was told that camber can’t really be adjusted on this car when I got an alignment. Wonder if that was true

Those getting this kit installed make sure you point out to the installer that for the rear the black helper spring needs to be pressed into the perch before it is installed. The MSS instructions just calls for using the cars weight to accomplish this but it might not align straight.

I just got my kit from Ben (top notch service and price!) and was figuring out how everything went together and that was the first thing i noticed that could cause noise from the rear is if the black spring isn't pressed into the adjustable perch locking it in.

Multilink suspension setup in general doesn't have camber setting.
Usually McPherson does.

But, all car's rear suspension do have camber and toe regardless of suspension style.

Yes, I will make a video.
Today customer can't make it, should be tomorrow.
I'll share the video on how to get it done.
