Where to find Engine sticker/plate

It might be a dumb question but where is the engine plate located ?

It contains the engine serial number, engine type, etc...

On the N63/S63 V8 engine, the engine ID code and serial # is stamped into the block at the lower front of engine on the right side (when seated in vehicle). It's very hard to see.
