Break pad and drum life?

Hi,
Normally how long does break pads and drum lasts on a G05 2019 model? I understand it depends on individual driving behaviour but wanted to get a rough idea. I completed around 39km and got warning to replace rear break pads. I was getting a sound from front breaks but no warning in the app. I asked dealer to check front breaks and he said that front break pads and drum needs to be replaced as well.

Thanks in advance!

2019 x5 30d M sport brakes

rear pads at 65000 miles
front pads 72000 miles.

bmw indi specialist said discs were fine.
I mainly do motorway/freeway mileage so not much braking.
They said don't bother changing until brake indicator shows on drive as they always replace the wear indicator anyway even if its not been activated/worn.

My 2019 X5 just notified me that the rear brakes need changing in 1200 mi, I have 28800 miles on the car right now. Is this the way the wear indicator works? It gives an estimate of miles remaining?

Thanks for sharing the prices. Interesting that if the rear/front pad replacement is done together it's more expensive than if you were to get them replaced individually. $1600 vs $2000
