Congratulations. Excellent Build. You'll truly enjoy. I've the exact same - but in Alpine White Exterior.

Congrats! Looks to be an awesome build. Did they give you a build week yet?

Nice build! Sounds very similar to the one I’ll be picking up in early October.

If there is still time, you may want to consider adding the spare tire option. It’s fairly inexpensive and you’ll regret not having it if you have a bad puncture or decide to later change to non-runflat tires.

Also, the X5 now comes standard with a Sensatec dashboard which looks pretty good. I decided it was close enough to the look of a leather dashboard and saved the upcharge to a leather dash.

Thanks for the advice. I was going back and forth on the dash for a while but decided that I really liked the way it looked even against the sensatec.

Is the Sensatec dashboard stitched like the leather one? If it looks the same, the Sensatec may hold up better against sun damage.

Yes, it is. On MY 2020 it even is done in two pieces with stitching in the middle.

Good choice!

I've seen both in person and I have the Nappa Leather dash and there is simply no comparison to Sensatech.

The grainy leather just can't compare to the look of the smooth Nappa Leather.

They look the same except for the material used.

Congrats,

Looks like a great build. I just bought a xDrive 40i 2 days ago. I built one too. However compromised a few options and bought one on the dealers lot. Tanzanite Blue II changes with light and is pretty amazing depending on light. At night looks dark almost black and changes color with sunlight during the day. I had to pass on Laser lights since it was not available. Acoustic Glass cuts road noise significantly. I also got a great deal!
Good luck!

Great build, just about what I intend to order in Nov. please take pictures when your baby arrives. How did you do on discount from MSRP? Any additional incentives mentioned from dealer on delivery, such as financing? Don’t forget BMWCCA $1000 rebate.

I negotiated 10% off MSRP. It is easier to negotiate where there are several competing dealerships and vehicles on the lot. Be prepared to walk away anytime during the deal. I also received $1250 Loyalty credit since I have a 2011 7 series that I financed through BMW. I should also get $1000 rebate via BMWCCA. Financed portion of my car 2.99% 60 mo's with BMW. Never paid extra for anything else dealer offered.
