This isn't a "plan"..... this is actual crap, that is actually stacked in boxes in my garage....... waiting. This is why I post so many inquiring threads on here..... research. Incidentally, this is all for a car that is paid in full, that I've never driven, or even SEEN in real life.

Already loaded a TON of children's movies onto one tablet, and a ton of "tween" movies onto the other.

Already have pricing worked out with a local detail shop to refinish the wheels in satin black, and tint the front windows to match the rear. I "may" decide to have the rear diffuser wrapped in gloss carbon (Tow package, so I can't get the M perf one).... haven't decided yet.

(Car is Alpine white with the extended shadowline package)

In the end...... this car can get here ANY..... FRICKIN' ..... TIME...... now.

Anyone else stockpiling parts like I am, in anticipation of the car's arrival? Or perhaps I'm the only idiot doing this???.... LOL

I don't come close to your level of preparation but I do have the OBDLink MX+, two screen protectors for the big displays and one for the AC display, a couple of BMW leather care products, two USB C and two USB C to Lightning cables, underseat vent covers and two BMW umbrellas (bought from BMW Welt in München!)

My 45e should arrive in Jan so that's 6mo wait from order. Mineral White and extended Shadow Line for me.

Nice!

6 months though??? Jeez. I was all but "guaranteed" my car would take 3 months..... now it's switched to 5, for no reason at all.

Drives me crazy.

So comforting to see I’m not the only crazy one here!

I ordered a bunch of accessories too while I wait. Most notably the folding trays for the rear seats.

Yeah, but I did order almost two months before 45e production started and it takes almost two months to ship, so it ended up being reasonable.

Oh.... at least that is understandable then.

I had a confirmed production date in the 2nd week of December.... that was just delayed for no reason at all..... at least not anything they told my dealer.

What is the AC seat cover for? Are you getting the comfort seating package with the ventilated seats?

They're covers (grill) for the ac vents found under the front seats. I guess there's a concern things could find there way in there.

I have two kids... Honestly never considered it. On my ML these vents are off the ground a little, so it would be difficult for anything to roll into them. It's never been too much of an issue for me, but I keep my car spotless, even with the two kids back there.

I can understand the commitment there. Having children in a luxury vehicle while keeping it spotless is full time job. Neither my wife or myself want children, I suppose it's good she can't have any then.

Yea..... just covers "in case" something ever drops in there. My kids are pretty clean, and it hasn't happened before.... but I read a post on here about somebody fishing out M&Ms or something..... figured it was worth the $12 investment... lol

At the rate your car is being built, you might as well return those tablets and get the newest versions once the car gets here

Hello, thanks for posting this!

So I've been looking at the following tires you have in your list for the 21" wheels to replace the performance tires.

2x Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS 275/40/21
2x Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS 315/35/21

But when I try to order it on tirerack it shows it's not compatible with the 21" 744 type wheels that comes factory installed. Do you think I can still order these and hope they fit?

Here are some pictures of the wheels I have on right now.

And here is the tires I am seeing on Tirerack.

Do you think I am doing the right thing?

Amazon.com sells them. The instrument cluster protection was too reflective so I removed it. But the nav and a/c protectors are useful.
