2020 September Lease Programs - Negative Changes

So it looks like the residual has been dropped 2% across the board for 2020 models and increased 1% for 2019 models vs last month.

A 2020 at 10K miles is 56% and a 2019 is at 59%.

Somebody check my math, but I THINK the MF has been dropped to .00130 from .00145. This is good but doesn't offset the 2% drop in the MF.

Hopefully all you guys with 2020 orders had your credit app submitted last month so you can lock the old rates.

I am uncertain whether the $1250 loyalty credit continues for September and/or if the loyalty credit from August can be locked. Does anybody have insight?

Using my build as an example, math before and math after. Monthly payment would increase ~$26 (~ 2.43%).

Asked my CA on the Loyalty discount but was told "they're not out yet" which is strange given the other details have been released for the month. I'll update if I hear anything.

So the big unknown is whether the $1250 loyalty is still active or lockable from prior months.

I am guessing the 2020 residual will increase again in October after most 2019's have been cleared off the lots. If you aren't locked for a prior month, it would be best to not finalize a 2020 purchase during September.

Loyalty stays the same
MF is now .00128
Residual down 2%
roughly about 25-30 a month difference from last month

I submitted a credit app last month at time of ordering. Likely won't take delivery until October (build week 41).

Are MF and RV locked in at time of ordering with a credit app submission, or can I choose to use the new MF/RV at time of delivery? (Asking in case October rates are more attractive)

I would like to understand this as well. I had my credit app and order placed in August. Delivery scheduled for late September or early October. Does this mean I locked in August rates for sure?

Yes you can stay with August program when you submitted the order.

Is this 100% true? So those who ordered in Aug have the option to either select MF and residual from Aug or the ones available at the time of delivery?

Any best guesses if any lease incentives will hit between Oct-Dec? I was planning on getting a m550 but I've switched gears to the x5 m50. Have the incentives ever been anything decent for the X5?

Looking at the threads from last year when the '19 model came out, it looks like the fall is when the incentives showed up. Not to say we should expect the same this year but this fall is probably a good bet.

My guess is the 2020s go up to 58% on residual value in October, MF stays around .00130, loyalty stays at $1250, and there will possibly be lease incentives of $1000, but wouldn't count on it. September seems to be a really bad month to buy a 2020 and it will improve from here.

Thanks. I need to double check..but I'm assuming if I order now I'll get whatever the incentives are at time of delivery which should be Nov or so. I'm not gonna lose any sleep over $1k incentives. I'm too excited to get cracking

So that incentives chart for Sept is helpful.

But it says “See Regional Rates” for financing. So what are the regional rates for Michigan, USA, for 2020 X5?

Regional rates will be on BMWUSA:

Enter your ZIP Code. Offers may change or stay the same depending on region.
