Drive To End Hunger Rebate
I test drove an X5 back in November during the "Drive To End Hunger" event and promptly received an email from BMW with the Redemption Code. A few weeks ago I started negotiating on a new X5, but my CA told me that since I was already getting a good deal (10+%) off MSRP that the dealer wouldn't accept the $1,000 rebate.
The email from BMW states: Quote:

OL Codes are $500 direct from BMW to the dealer. It's up to the dealer if they want to add that additional $500 ($1000) to their deal depending on what's already been negotiated. Your dealer is just keeping the $500 from BMW.

Thank you. I haven’t given them the code, but it’s good to know what they’re doing, or attempting to do.

Did they apply it to a custom order? The terms say "in stock" so curious in case my dealer pushes back. |

Thanks! It was on an in stock M50i. It was nearly identical to the build I was going to do and they beat the build quote by almost $3,000 and then I was also able to apply the $500 rebate too. It was worth the out of state drive for me.
