I believe the downside to doing that though is that you won't get the finance incentives BMW FS offers (correct me if I'm wrong anyone — I only lease, not finance). So, for example, if BMW FS is offering a $3,000 incentive if you finance with them and their rate is 3.5%, but you found a bank that will loan you money with only 2.5%, you need to calculate and see if what you'll be saving with that 1% less interest is more than the incentive BMW FS is offering. You might be better off just going with BMW FS. Plus you'll have the added benefit of getting the full 60-day rate lock (90 days if you're on the west coast).

Down for me as well. My completion date was moved up to this Saturday.I just sent an email to my CA to see if I can push up my PCD as well.
I cancelled my 2/21 date so hopefully you get in that slot!

Hmm okay. I think the 60day lock is definitely an advantage.
In my case my loyalty+incentives+dealer discount topped up at 10290 on the build MSRP of 76420. And then I had the flexibility to decide BMWFS or other banks, so planning to go with lowest APR option.

Changing gears, when we punched in the order the state was Order accepted and within few mins it changed to 112 Scheduled for production. Typically how much time does it take to go to 150 Production Started and to get a build week?

So they're giving you loyalty credit and incentives (should be $3,250 total) even though you're not using BMW FS? That's odd. But if that's what they're giving you, go for it!

Yes, picked up yesterday and enjoying thus far. Stopped by detail shop to pick up supplies to clean next week (forecast in 60's) and by local BMW dealer to get cargo mat. Still acclimating to controls and loading in my driving preferences. Wife loves glass controls, trim (which she picked out), leather dash and massaging seats. Perhaps photos after all cleaned up.

Doesn't seem like they have better info. I called mine earlier today and he showed the car being on the same step as I see on mygarage. I also don't think he realizes how behind the system is...
So my SA called today to inform me I got a VIN and went to 150 status. Check this out - he showed me their software. They see all steps and can micro-track the production.
Also it's far easier to text a person rather than going through 1-844 genius call flow to get an answer.

It is cool. I like it.

I believe all those steps are on the "mygarage" site that you can check yourself. When I called my SA he showed the car being on the same step as mygarage, which was clearly behind the actual step, since my car was finished the next day. Either way it's cool, I just think all of these sources are using the same source information to populate their respective trackers.

I entered assembly today with a projected completion of Monday. Should I have a PCD date by now? Reached out to the dealer last week but he hasn't confirmed as of yet.

If it's too far out I may just run down to ATL and pick it up.
