I have a X5-30D with the software update stalled. It's transferred to the car weeks ago, but I never get the prompt to initiate it.

Do I need to put my battery on a charger?

No we are not, we are referring to the 12v battery. For most it doesn't seem to help but it is worth a try.

Anyone tried installing via ISTA? Is it even possible? I have a '21 45e on 07/2022 and it says no updates are available but it sounds like I'm many updates behind.

My car wouldnt update for 2 years, I got close the last time and it told me to put the parking brake on... then the car just said "canceled" ended up bringing it to the dealer and after complaining they did it for free.
