Week 26 - X5 M60i - stuck in QC purgatory

Am I the only one with a week 26 build still stuck in QC? This will be week 3. I’m starting to wonder if I slipped between the cracks somehow. It’s frustrating that there’s no way to find out what’s holding things up.

That sucks and sorry to hear - assume you’ve discussed with CA and Genius and nothing they can do to get more info?

Yep. CA said he was told it has a 155 status.

The factory does not release information, to either dealers or Genius, concerning why a specific vehicle is in QC.

Yep, which makes it incredibly frustrating. I just get pissed every time I go check its status now. The problem is that there isn't another vehicle I would want if the dealership was willing to cancel my order and refund my deposit.

I have to wonder if it's because another vehicle is getting preferential treatment over mine with available components. The thought of that REALLY pisses me off.

FYI, I opted for the B&W Diamond stereo system and Adaptive M Suspension Professional. Maybe there's a shortage on the parts for those?

I would say there is no chance that they are using parts that were allocated to you in another vehicle. Rather than a missing part I would lean towards it being part/component that they are waiting to be shipped to SC.
