3rd party tire and wheel protection

Hello - Anyone know where you can purchase 3rd party tire and wheel protection? Dealer wants $3,259 for 5 Yeats and I think this is very high. Thanks

If you have a discount tire nearby you can purchase tire road hazard protection for a couple hundred.

I have a 3 year policy through enterprise cost me $2200 with no deductible for my 21’ X5MC. Already replaced 3 tires with absolutely no issues

Between mfg warranties and free installer road hazard (e.g. Discount Tire), I don't see the need for tire/wheel insurance. (I know, these don't cover wheels). Wouldn't it simply be easier to pocket the $2-3K and use it if/when you hit a road hazard. A full set of new tires is only $2K.

Agreed, it makes more sense to self-insure this kind of thing--if the odds were in our favor they wouldn't offer the coverage.
