Week 30

Ended up ordering an X5 M60i last week after a 3 hour drive to a dealership that had one in stock. 10 minutes away from pulling into the lot I get a call, it just sold. Probably for the best as I thought it had all the core options I wanted but have since come to realize it didn't have adaptive cruise control (that nomenclature they use is perhaps a bit misguiding) - would've been bummed either way I guess.

I was willing to compromise on 1st color choice/combo for something in stock with the 2 options I thought I needed/wanted - trailer hitch and massage seats. Turns out I wanted drive assist pro too (for the ACC, could've done w/o the rest, and no I don't need help parking either). Ended up getting quite a few other options as well.

Started poking around here today looking for info on MirrorTap and trailer brake controller connection, came across the build info tips and tricks. Dealer gave me one of their 112 slots and modified it for me. Called a genius today and they told me week 30.

First post. Super excited. A bit impatient too. Reached out to the CA today, he's looking into PCD for me - we'll see, timing may be a bit tricky for me... but if I gotta find a ride to dealership 3 hours away, may as well get on a plane and have a fun drive home.

Had the my garage tab open from yesterday - had no expectation that anything would have changed but to my pleasant surprise, "Today's the day: your BMW has entered the production queue."

F12 tells me, prodDate: 7-25

Realized I hadn't mentioned options for my build. The following is a list of the codes present within the My Garage (F12 screen). Did my best to fill in descriptions where I could verify/cross reference. Still missing more than a few though... any assistance on those would be appreciated - assuming those are 'behind the scenes' type things like "ACEA/CO2 Coding, Oil Change..." [wtf on a code for oil change btw] and/or iDrive 8(.5?) components, etc?

TurtleBoy I thought I had seen you post a link to July option codes? Can't find it again. Perhaps I imagined that though

*I tried, but deal at MSRP - while finalizing my build I heard rather loud announcement to the entire CA area, "we now have no more X5's and X6's on the lot!" No need to deal, so no surprise.
** Order placed 7-5, ProdDate: 7-25, make * (above) pretty palatable and I got into improved incentives: 4.99% and $1,500 Loyalty
*** Was really torn on B&W sound, ultimately felt I had to stop somewhere - H-K aint no slouch. Would have added M Suspension Pro with 2-axle air if it allowed, but no go.

Congrats on the order. At one point I did post a link to someone else's build with codes, maybe that was it. As far as many of your's is concerned, they are listed in the pricing guide. For example, 1CE is the 48V Mild Hybrid.

Much appreciate, it was the Pricing Guide you provided that I was after. Thought I had seen a July version like the June version, but that gave me all the remaining beside 1DP -a ULEV code that I was able to find on Google

CA called me yesterday on the timing of PCD if I wanted to do it. Too much work and personal travel on my schedule for the next 8 weeks to be able to do it. Would've really liked to take advantage of that experience, just not going to happen, this time.

Seems like I might be the only one on here w/ a week 30 build and I'm kinda talkin to myself, but anyway...

Just checked F12 and to my happy surprise, proddate was changed to 7-24, status 153 "On to the assembly line, where your BMW really starts to come together."

🤞🏼 it progresses smoothly

Update: 7/24 went from on production line to awaiting carrier assignment, where my garage shows it still sits.

But got a text from my CA today telling me, production complete and that it could be here (TX) in 2 weeks (never let him know I've been tracking myself from time to time)...

Called Genius, he said it was released (or was it 'dispatched'? idr) today - yet My Garage still showing 'awaiting... assignment'

Perhaps just an FYI that'll help another with the near overload of tracking information available.

Still hoping for sometime next week

Thanks for the info! Once production is complete, and it leaves the factory tracking can lag. My last one was at the dealer and the tracker still said in transit. Your SA can give you the usual transit time for your region.

Have an X5 50e coming soon with a 29 July build. Just found this thread and thought I would join the conversation. My car has moved quickly through the steps and now says "at the port". Ordered on 11 July.

That is where the cover for the tow hook goes. They are shipped without it.
