I can confirm my build which was slated for delivery the end of May, has been delayed. It includes the Executive Package so trying to confirm that it is in fact the soft close door option that is causing the delay. Current build date is now July 1.

X5 50e premium package(prod number 3849xxx). Climate package. Mine was week 19. Moved to week 23. Was told the delay is due to scheduling and not any lack of parts. I know another build(prod number 3807xxx), exactly the same configuration is going through production in week 19 ( was moved from week 15 to 19 about 5 weeks ago.

I was told the same on my X5 50e (prod #384XXXX) moving from 19 to 23

I moved back to 112 a day or two ago.

My X5 50e.with Executive package was originally week 21, then week 25 and now 23 status 112 ( production #3853XXX)

Good to hear. Looks like week19 to week23 delays are now week21.

The “genius” guy said mine was back to week19. But, I don’t believe it. With one day to go in week19, I am still on 112. Probably a newbie genius.

FWIW, my Week 19 > 23 is still in 111. I don't it expect it to run down the entire chute today/tomorrow, but wouldn't be mad if it did!

I pushed off the EVSE install and wiring when mine was postponed so am hope it stays at wk 23.

Guessing the soft close doors is why my X5M has been sitting in QC for 10+ days

Unlikely that is the case. I believe all builds that were effected were movie back in the schedule and not held in QC.

I just heard executive package on X5 40i is not available to order anymore. My dealer has one chassis in 112 status and couldn't even add it to that. It sucks because I want the glass controls and now they are not even available as a standalone option

My x6 is also stuck in QC since 4/26. BMW wouldn't tell my dealer the reason of delay.

Could be, last year we saw folks in QC for about a month when there was a touchscreen shortage. It all depends on the part. This is not happening with the Executive package though, those are being moved back.

Just wondering. Is it possible that US orders are moved back in favor for European orders that will get for example soft close?
My dealer still claims there are no deletes of options or orders that are moved significantly back because of this.

I guess that is possible especially since the European ordering model is different. What they did last year with the touchscreens for European vehicles is complete the vehicle and ship them to Germany. Once the touchscreens were available they were installed there so they do treat European vehicles different at times.

Looks like the Climate Comfort Package got pulled from the U.S. X5 40i configurator.

Out of the 4 included options under the package, it looks like heated rear seats and front ventilated seats are gone.

I'm gonna have to rethink my current order, unfortunately. Too many missing conveniences for me.

I have a x5m on order scheduled to be in production this week but as of now it is still 111 status. It has all the options except for the drivers assistance pro package. No clue what the hold up is or if its even considered that. I know its gonna be here for the summer but still excited n a little antsy!
