Any aftermarket air intakes for M50i?
Hey guys. I have a 2021 X5 M50i with the N63 engine. Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket air intake systems available yet? I googled around and I couldn't find anything specifically for my car. Any suggestions?

I don’t think anything exists at this point. However, a little birdie told me that Eventuri is in production. Hoping it launches soon.

I know the M50i shares the N63 engine with other platforms. Is it not possible to use an intake system from those platforms? |

I think with some adjustments it is possible. As a matter of fact, there are others on this forum who I’ve seen have fit the Dinan on the M50i after some adjustments. Unfortunately, I am completely clueless when it comes to working on cars so I don’t have the ability to try and make things work.
If you’re willing to wait, a very reliable source has told me the Eventuri is in production. Was supposed to be out in May so I’m a little nervous as to how long it’s going to take, but I’m told it’s definitely in the works. |

I posted a couple of threads months ago. I fitted the Dinan intake and was unable to make the Eventuri work. I love my Dinan product. Whirls and swooshes but nothing that someone on the sidewalk will hear from around the corner.

Wow the Dinan looks so sexy with all that carbon, however, it is pretty pricey. |

For M50i platform, all things are pricey. Expect to spend $3k-6k on exhaust (don’t forget install costs) and $2k for intake. Doubt Eventuri will have a cheaper intake for the M50i vs current M60i pricing. Believe me, if there were a slightly cheaper option I would have done it. That said, I feel my purchase was worth it. Product is top notch in quality and has added to the driving experience. As you can see, it’s also pretty in the engine bay.
