My factory warranty just expired but I still have CPO coverage until next year June unlimited miles.

I keep hearing about the transfer case issues, and even though car is driving fine I do get in my head after seeing so many posts about it lol.

Does the CPO cover it? Or what exactly does it cover I cant seem to get the full specified list online.

Thanks in advance!

Can't help you with CPO questions but like you all these TC posts had me worried so i bit the bullet and just paid for a shop (dealer) to have the fluids changed for the peace of mind. I did the front and rear diffs myself with factory fluids and had a shop do the TC also with factory fluids. Figure its a one time change for the amount of miles i plan on keeping this car. Worth it for the peace of mind.

Yes, its covered for a failure, but not for maintenance (ex. fluid change). You basically have an extension of the factory warranty.

"BMW CPO warranty coverage is, by and large, quite similar to new vehicle warranty coverage. In fact, those who purchase a CPO BMW will receive whatever remains of the initial 4-year/50,000-mile warranty at the time of their purchase. After expiration, you’ll retain warranty coverage for up to one year, with no mileage limit. --United BMW"
