The more I study that back-end, the more I think they really had no choice in those rear accents that just sort of stick out. By staying with the rear-end lighting design, that other BMWs have gone towards, they're threatening leaving a whole lot of dead space. That said, while considering how they did this I've come to the conclusion that it's not the best per se, but it sure as Hell could have been a lot worse.
