I'm almost certain there is no such color as Atlantis Blue. The correct color is Atlantis Metallic (399).

I've tried to capture my Atlantis M3 on camera but its extremely difficult to get the right color without some edits.

It's like IOMG which also has a teal shift in a different tone of teal. It goes from Emerald to teal while Atlantis Metallic goes from a light blue to a teal.


Another great one is Velvet Blue which no one captures correctly either. All of the pictures make it look like a medium purple, but that's incorrect. So many good colors and people still order greyacale black/white/silver/grey sadly.

Color doesn't seem to work on bigger cars like the X5M. Looks too feminine to me. I never liked LBB either.

I suppose the police vigilance is to be applauded, i think it's a US / UK cultural difference ... even with some of my older modded "boy racer" cars I've never been stopped, other than 1 time when admittedly i did go around a roundabout twice, and the police pulled me over and breathalyzed me (I passed) ...

I get you though with the "everyone wants to race the M2" line ... I have the same issue with my modded X5MC in Marina Bay Blue ... I pretend I haven't noticed the provocation when my kids are in the car ... but find it hard to resist when they aren't

Sold my Snapper Rocks Blue 440i convertible when I bought my Mineral White Metallic X5M. Might go individual color on the next one and Atlantis is at the top of the list!

EDIT: Out of interest, and speaking as a Brit, and police are not any kind of issue for anyone who isn't black (it seems ... so wrong!) ... what cop issues have you had? i.e. you're being pulled over for no reason ... what kind of attitude does the cop have with you .... what kind of frequency are we talking ... etc?

Genuinely interested in this, as here in little old Lancashire, England, we don't EVER get stopped by police ... unless as I say, you are black in which case it's not all the time, but maybe once a month if you're young and have a half-way decent car (like my nephew ... though it's a Merc!)
