My order just flipped from 111 to 112 overnight.

I placed my order with the dealer for 50e early January and had an allocation/production number right away for MY24. Like everyone else, this was pushed to MY25 and per last call to Genius was slotted for week 20 build (mid May).

Also the same. My January 50e order also flipped to 112 in the last couple of days. I haven’t called genius but would assume we are all in the same week.

I ordered 12 Feb, with production date on July and delivery estimated on 30 Sep.
In in the UK so times are much lengthier.
I asked my dealer if ordering in February with production date of July, will get me the MY25 or MY24. Let’s see what they say!
Overall frustrating that we need to wait 7+ months for a car!

It appears I’ve been moved up. I went to 150 today and production date shows 5/6!

Ordered in February and also have a delivery estimated on 30 Sep (Belgium).

Any 50e built after April will certainly be MY25. The 50e is really hard to get and even wait times in the US are long.

My buddy ordered his 50e early this month with a late June production. So approx 2+ months for US orders now.

That is not possible to know as those allocations have not been issued. The dealer is just hoping he gets one and is telling him that to keep the sale.

Agree, although 2 dealers here in London,Uk had exact the same slot dates. Weird but clearly shows how limited production is for us on this side of the Atlantic. 30d/40d would be weeks but Plthe PHEV is months and all estimates.
Let’s hope they are right as waiting more than 8 months for a car is crazy!

I was referring to US allocations, UK/Europe operate under a totally different system.

Just had a return from my dealer : delivery is expected for week 36. Should be the same for you

Week 36 would be brilliant as it’s the start of the new plates here in UK. Best week to buy and not depreciate as fast.

"Congratulations on your new BMW X5 xDrive50e. As you anticipate the thrilling drive ahead of you, we're making space for your vehicle in our production schedule. Once your vehicle has entered the next step of production, your VIN and production number will be shared to track the production status of your new BMW. We're also here to answer any questions along the way."

My dealer says 6 to 8 months!!! Not sure if he is being conservative, but is there a way to know when it's scheduled for build, or when it will be scheduled.

LOL It is amazing what they say. Give Genius a call with your production number and they can tell you your scheduled build week. Likely will be May so your delivery should be late June/early July. Let us know what they say.

Edit: I have not looked into it but allocations for June builds may have just come out so if you got one of those just adjust the above back one month.

It looks like they don't have an allocation yet for you. Best to ask when their next allocation is and what spot in line you are.

No, that can't be the case since he got the email from BMW. Those are only sent out when there is an order.

They might be able to but your dealer should have given you your production number. You will need that to enter it in MyGarage so you can track it. Give your CA a call and get the number so you can proceed.

So I’m 11 calendar days from my expected production date, but still at 112.

Am I right in thinking that’s unusual. I should be 150 that close to a production dat, or else my week will slip anyway.

Yeah called him. Said he just got allocation (hence my email I got), he said End July (which seems about right). Didn't have number but said he would get it to me.
