X5 M 24' Tuning Questions/Recs

Hey everyone, it’s my first time navigating this forum. I got this car a few months ago, it’s still stock. I havent done much to it, I now have tints, ppf and ceramic coating.

Do you have any recommendations for catless downpipes and tunes? I dont think I’d go any further than stage 2

Racechip-quick and easy. Decent gains. Cheap. Can be removed for dealer visits.

I do not understand why do you want to tune it? Does it feel like it needs any more POWER? Or are you just in a quest to find out how this complex new hybrid drivetrain will do? If it will hold?

Has race chip been released yet for the LCI x5m competition? (2024--2025).My understanding is that it was not yet available and is still in calibration/process.

Catless or DP will give you lots of grief..

A Catted or Catless DP will give you a lot of grief, especially if you have to pass a state inspection at some point. Maybe a Catted DP from Active Autowerks but those are expensive and you'll need two...
Those generally don't generate an efficiency error. And no, spacers are not a guaranteed solution for Cat efficiency errors.

Bottom line, they're making it very hard to make some awesome mods and ALSO be emissions inspection "legal" to pass the test.

Just my two cents...
