Any recent experiences leasing a 40i in WA state? What is a “good” deal off MSRP, pre-incentives in WA for a car already in the lot? Does the finance credit of $2k apply here? Can’t find info on it anywhere! Thanks in advance.

I don't think anyone from WA has posted in awhile. If I remember correctly, discounts were fairly low, in the 3-5% range. The $2k credit does not apply to leasing unless that has changed recently.

Looking to order an M50i and having trouble getting a dealer in California that will get anywhere close to 10% off MSRP before incentives. Any one have any recommendations feel free to PM...happy to pay finders fee : ) Willing to travel/ship if the deal is good. These dealers are saying they have plenty of 40i allocations but not enough M50i allocations to justify discounting heavily.

Folks, the delivery of my 2020 G06 is getting closer and it will be my first lease. What do I need to check on the lease agreement? (the numbers, of course, but what else?) Any insights would be appreciated.

Any update on March programs? From what I can tell on the BMW USA website, residual value for the sDrive40i went up 2% and is now the same as the xDrive40i. And the lease credit for the sDrive40i dropped $500. Not sure what the base MF is though.

Can someone comment on the attached:
1. The correctness of the numbers. Big discrepancy from leasehackr (at least $100 more per month compared to leasehackr calculations) 2. How bad/good of a deal it is? This is in WA. Thanks in advance! Last edited by bmwx5er; 03-03-2020 at 02:22 PM.. |

For Washington that is probably a good discount. What is your tax rate as well as the MF they are quoting you? Also what is the breakdown of the "due at signing" amount?

On my first question- does the amount of $1160/mo add up? Leasehackr comes up with something closer to $1000. |

Just estimating I would say it is pretty close to that given your tax rate but will run the numbers when I get a chance. I ran them earlier using .00142 for the MF and zero tax and it was around $1k a month so 10% tax would put it about $1,100 so they may be a bit higher. I assume the .00147 is pre-MSD, correct?

Here is the link to the calculations. I don't know whether WA taxes incentives or not but treated it as taxable since most states do. Let me know if you have any questions. https://leasehackr.com/calculator?ma...Tax_radio=true |

https://leasehackr.com/calculator?ma...Tax_radio=true Their numbers are definitely not reflecting the deal that is shown on your sheet. There must be some information/fees they are not showing. Their MSD calculations are also not correct since your "due at signing" amount is off. The DAS can't be your monthly payment plus 7 MSDs since the numbers don't add up. They have the DAS as 8,309.73 and your monthly payment as 1,159.73 meaning the MSD amount would be 7,150. That would mean each MSD payment would be 1,021.43 which can't be correct since an MSD payment is always rounded up to the next 50 dollars unless something has changed this year. Here is the MSD rule sheet from last year when the program was reinstated nationwide. |
