Nov and Dec rates usually best of the year. Nothing is set in stone but historically speaking, Jan rates are not favorable. You can lock rates for 60 days. On delivery month, you can choose that monthly rate if it's better.
I just re-locked Dec rate from November (order month) because my delivery is expected in Feb.

2020 custom build pricing
Hey all,
I've gotten too particular on what I want and headed down the path of a custom order. I realize the best deals right now are in-stock vehicles, and assuming that's where folks are getting the 10%+ off MSRP. For custom order I had a local dealer quote 6% off MSRP plus -2750 rebate which nets 9.5% off MSRP. I was also told 6-7% off MSRP is right at invoice price (true or not?) Is 9.5% off MSRP (all in incl. rebates) that an "ok" deal for custom order? What are y'all seeing around this time of year? FWIW, doesn't appear SAs are as motivated on individualized orders since delivery won't be taken until 2020. I get that part... |

Here in the DC area, pre-incentive discounts on 2020 custom orders are in the 9-11% range. I got 11.3% off a custom 2020 order + $2,500 in incentives. I’m not familiar with discounts in TX but in the very least, I would shop around (via email) several dealers in the area to try to get a higher discount since I think 6% is a little low...perhaps try starting with Texas COE winners (https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/a...language=en_US) since those are high volume dealers. If you are doing PCD, you could buy from any dealer in the country and would be able to get a higher discount than 6%. Good luck! |

I special ordered an M50 in December...10.8% off msrp before incentives. I shopped around and found a dealer out of state and will do PCD delivery at BMW's plant in SC.

I can’t remember if I put this in the PM but something to keep in mind is the doc fees in VA are generally $300-$400 higher than the $399 that MD charges...so if you get a better offer from Midlothian (before TTL), take that into account. Good luck. |

I've reached out to several other dealers including out of state (ones I was already communicating with when I thought I was down the path of retired courtesy vehicle) and so far no one will do more than 6-7% off msrp on custom order before incentives. Will keep looking, but assume it's SAs all focused on moving existing inventory thru 12/31 and might change their stance a bit as we get into Jan...

I think my previous stated enough reasoning for why we need to talk about numbers before incentives. That's really great deal, congratulations! |

X5 M50!
Hello all,
Second time post. I think I posted this question in the wrong forum. I have read through all of your posts and I am trying to find a dealer that will come even close to what has been posted here. I might have to go out of state and have it delivered. I am currently getting %7 of MSRP before incentives. Looking to buy before the end of year. Thank you in advance! |

Update to all-- thanks for the help Wxnatscaps and suprajjang. How is this deal sound to everyone, about to sign paper work and put down deposit.
I started the whole process looking for 20% off of a 2000 mi loaner or 15% discount before 2750 rebates for a new 2020. One dealer with written email said yes for a day and that day passed they never agreed to it anymore after. I was about to go pick up from the existing inventory of a 2020 with 15.5% off a MSRP of 70,595 (roughly 11.8% before incentives or so doing it mentally as my rebates are 2750 -- conquest + APR finance). No OLE code or anything else to use, nor loyalty. Got a call from a dealer GSM in the area offering 15.1% off MSRP of for a custom order -- (comes to about 11.3% before incentives ~ to Wxnatscaps). MSRP 71831 including destination fee Sale price 60984.59 MD title/tag fee 335 dealer processing fee 299 Tax 3659.07 Total 65277.59 Finance term 2.99% at 60 months 12k down payment financed amount 53277.59 Thoughts about the deal? Are there anything else i should be asking for? |
