By contrast, the Connected app has the "Gallery" and "Saved Views" where you can do what I'm saying is currently missing from the My BMW app. |

I like how it says "keep an eye on your car" implying that you can see a live steam in real-time. Now that would be kinda cool

In Doug DeMuro tribute style, I've noticed a quirk (and feature?) of this version of the My BMW app, as opposed to the current Connected app.
In the new one, my car always appears to be facing northeast whereas the older app shows the correct direction of travel. |

Because the pressure needs to be higher for a fully loaded car the current pressure before inflating is to low and it gives an error message on the My BMW app, also specific for each tire. In my case the pressure was low but apparently not dangerously low. |

one thing useful about this new app, maybe the only thing, is that you can update your "work" and "home" addresses on the app, and it'll also update it on the vehicle, so you don't have to manually do it there. that's pretty cool.

Since a couple of weeks it also shows the route in the app. I don't think it did that before. I think it is quite good now. |

It's good but there's still a few things missing. Like I really liked on the previous app where you could just start typing a contact's name and if you had their address saved in your phone it would pull up their address. That doesn't yet work.
The workaround is to ask Siri to navigate to the contact and then share that location with the car to use the native navigation app to do the rest. A few extra steps that hopefully will be eliminated soon enough |
