100-ish mph briefly on an onramp. Didn't feel much different from the 75 mph speed limit.
129 indicated in an S2000 at Texas World Speedway.
155 indicated on a CBR600RR at Texas World Speedway. (Probably about 140 true? Not sure, since bike speedos are notoriously inaccurate.)

Hit the limiter at 155mph in the 135.

Don't have the road/ circumstances/ balls to try to hit the top speed in the 991 yet.

Yeah, for some reason bikes are worse than cars. Some cars are worse than others but bikes are horrible, as much as 10% - 12% higher than actual. Most BMWs are about 5% or 6% higher than actual. The 911 is about 5% high too.

That reason is to keep idiots from killing themselves while still stroking their egos. And probably something to do with liability

Interestingly enough, my BMW K1200R (previous bike) and the Ducatis are much better than the Japanese bikes when it comes to speedo accuracy.

in stock form, my RT Challenger shifts at 5400rpms.

well, I found out that if I shifted every gear at 5400rpms all the way through 5th gear, I would stop at 145mph.

booooooooooooo !!!!!!!

I should have had the GPS speed on the dash but it slipped my mind. I am sure the car could have gone more but I was running out of room. Ignore the brake light....I fried my sensors at the Nurburgring the week prior.

I generally don't push this car, but if a douchebag is riding my bumper, or brake checks me, or some other move, I sometimes push it a little bit.

Last week, I was driving back to NJ from Maryland. Hit about indicated 120 or 130 MPH on I495, just to see what it felt like. The adrenaline rush is there - but not enough that I want to do it everyday, endanger myself, and the people around me. I usually follow the traffic at a slightly faster than average speed and like to cruise between 65-75 MPH when I'm not in a rush.

165 in e90 335. Than I got pulled over in e90 m3 going 140 in a 45. Talked my way out of it and got a 60 in a 45. It was 2am and it was a 3 mile straight away. Not quite sure why the speed limit was so low. No one was around me. After that havent really exceeded 85 mph

Speedo showed 145 at Texas World Speedway saturday at the end of the front straight, this is the fastest I have been in my 1M.

Fastest I have ever driven was a few years ago in a buddies SMG e60 M5. 167 in 6th before I backed off. Still had some room left in 6th + 7th gear. That thing was a highway monster.

Fastest I've gone was 164 on my old ZX10...., it seemed way more sketchy decelerating than accelerating though, lol. Seemed like it took forever for the MPH's to drop back to 70, too.

Hit the 155 limiter in the 335i briefly but quickly was running out of empty road. Same with M6, hit the 135 mph limiter in my old E46 too.

Accelerating to that speed was awesome but once there I really had no interest in going that fast.

Wide open in my '77 633 CSi on the autobahn. I'm guessing about 149MPH or so. Whatever the limiter was.

GPS said 161. Not sure what was indicated as I was not interested in looking down. I read that the limiter doesn't work in 5th gear so I was curious.. Wouldn't do it again.
