'19 X5 50i BMC Filters
Just double checking, when installing the BMC filters, did anybody else have to really bolt down the filters? They just don't "drop in" where the intake covers would sit perfectly flat over stock filters. They're a bit higher when seated, but once I torq down the screws, fitment seems fine but did notice a small 1mm or so gap. Also didn't have any charcoal filters, assuming the '19 x5 50i didn't have them?
It's just air filters, shouldn't cause any issues right? Could be my OCD. Last edited by christwinzbmw; 08-17-2023 at 10:21 AM.. Reason: add more text about the filters |

As long as it's seated and bolted down, should be all good you think?

Ok everything is good. Apparently, I was over thinking for no reason. The screw points are all tightened all the way, while the lid cover edges are slightly lifted because the screw base points are lower. Thanks rg sport for the clarification as well.
Also had to retighten a bolt after a run I did last night. |
