G05 with 22" wheels in the UK - bad idea?

Anyone here fit the above - I will be speccing air suspension so that will help with ride comfort, however are the 22" wheels a bad idea for us?

Depends on your tolerance for firmness - some people find it fine, esp. with air suspension. But guarantee there are some who find it way too hard and not acceptable.

Everyone has their own subjective idea of what is "too hard" and you'll find a full range of opinions if you keep asking the question. You'll have to test drive it to see how it feels to you personally.

Basically a cosmetic choice, so depends on whether you really want it - or not. Trade-offs - more easily damaged, fewer tire (tyre? ) options, costs more, rougher ride.

I got the 22 as an option with the M sport plus pack. They are non run flat and with the air suspension they give a very comfortable ride. Honestly i think they are absolutely fine and look the best. I have done 9000 miles now and no complaints. The only downside is no winters in the uk for this size. I bought a set of AEZ 20 rims squared up with 20 inch all season AT3 tyres but will be putting the 22 back on mid april. Go for it. You wont regret it. Probably smoother than the 20 run flats.

They are fine, better than my f15 with 20" and rft. Have done 17,000 miles and still got 6mm on all corners

The downside is having to spend $5000+(USD) for winter wheels and tyres.
If that's not a big deal then go for it
