X5 M50i PROVED IT IS A BEAST!!!
Just did a couple of 0-60MPH tests on my stock X5 M50i (the car has 1500km only on it)
The results are: Sport Plus with Dynamic Traction Control and Launch Control I was able to do 0-60MPH in 4.43s (1 trial) Sport Plus with DSC OFF and brake boost at 3000RPM I was able to do my best time so far 0-60MPH in 4.07s (1 trial) On both tests transmission was on Sport shifting at around 6400RPM. I believe manually shifting at 6000-6200RPM would make the car quicker, still can't perfect the manual shifting as the car is insanely quick! The result is very impressive considering the size and weight of the car it is! Can't wait to tune it, I believe getting into 3s would be a piece of cake! (Test was done with a passenger, fuel tank at three-quarter full, 98 octane fuel, outside temperature 19c) Please give tips for better results and share yours if you've done some testing!

Excellent results. With that much extra weight, you are already under 4 seconds with just a driver and under 1/4 tank of gas. I think you will peg 3.85 seconds with some trial and less weight. Max your tire pressure is also good for more gain. I want to try with my side mirrors folded in.
I can get 3.98 seconds and you have more hp than I do so 3.85 would be very realistic. You will get faster with a few more miles broken in and after your first oil change. Then it’s really a matter of traction and shift timing at this point than more hp. This is why you won’t see drastically much faster 0-60 with the new X5M as there is only so much you can do to get the power down and still have traction for such a big vehicle. Sport Shifting vs Manual Shifting Which one is better? If the answer is Manual Shifting, how much RPM is the quickest for 2nd 3rd and 4th gear at least? I'm not a pro but I know the last 200-400RPM are just a waste of power. In my Audi S6 I get better results when shifting 200-300RPM less than the Automatic Sport Shifting, same with my friends BMW M2 so I believe it is the same for the X5 but still have to do more testing, thing is I don't wanna abuse the car as it is still almost brand new lol

Just pump your tires max to what your door sticker allows for your size wheel/tire combo for a full load. Putting a few more miles on it will give you better times and might be better for the car. Then you can really rip into getting your times the lowest.
