Question E92 ///M3 vs C63 AMG = Who wins on the track?

Me and my friend had a huge argument about this. He pissed me off to a point where I'm going to buy an E92 M3 just to prove it to him...This is what happened....

Today we started talking about cars and stuff, and so my friend was talking about getting a new C63 in white. Im like thats cool. He goes yea man I cant wait am going to do this and that and 0-60 in 4.2, I'm like cool man cool.

Then he goes when I get the C63 i'm going to take the RS4 and the new M3 on the drag and track. I'm like WTF? Are you crazy?

I tell him, I understand you might pull on the new M3 and RS4 on the drag, but no way on the track... Then he goes yea man I'll fuck those cars in the ass so bad, Im like yea right bro its a MB. The RS4 is a beatable car but not the ///M. I said the new ///M is going to do 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, and it has LSD and its a BMW ///M. Im like on the track you cannot fuck with the ///M3.

Then he goes bro you have a 335i you dont know shit, im like go die. If you get the C63 and Im going to get the ///M3 ill murder you on the track.

Q: Now is it true the E92///M3 will overtake the new C63 on TRACK???

on a BMW forum the M3 will take the C63 easily, on a MB forum the M3 will lose

I had an argument with a friend today, he said that some of the posts on internet forums are inane. I argued that 'some' was a generalism, he finally agreed that 'this one' was much more accurate.

I wasn't saying the new ///M3 can beat everyone on the track. I was saying the new ///M can beat the RS4 and the C63 on the track...

E92 M3 > C63 > RS4

Who wins at the track? All depends on driving, I've seen a bone stock Cobalt SS beat a Corvette SS and a Maxima beat a Porsche GT3. If ur buddy knows how to drive, and u don't, he will smoke you.

I understand. But let's say you put the same race car driver in both the C63 and ///M, which car wins in the outcome?

2015 BMW M3  [10.00]
The MB CLK 63 Black series 'ring time is 8:02, and the E92 M3 time is speculated to be between 7:57 and 8:10, currently "provisional" at 8:03. So, without going into the same arguments as the other thread, the question is the C63 going to be close to the CLK 63 Black series or not....

Mmm, magazine racing, faaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic.

C63 is easier to drive

How do you know this at this point in time? Wait with bated breath like everyone else until the cars are available for testing and then read about the results? Only then can you have a rational discussion on this topic. By the way, who cares who wins....get the car you like.

Is this thread for real? We are not even talking about a specific track here. Just "track". I'm gonna start a thread on which car will go around the parking lot at work faster, and base my decision on that.

I wouldn't discount the M3 despite having less power than the C63. A couple of mags are lining up a comparo between the C63, M3 and RS4 for the shootout of the year

Ironically, the RS4 will no longer be available by the time the M3 is released here in the states. Of course, all the ones out there already will still work just fine.

Personally I hope these mags add the IS-F to the test too. It will likely come in last, but I want to know how it stacks up. I also hope they test both the E90 M3 and the E92 M3 in the comparo, since the others are 4 door.
