it actually makes sense but it was likely done beginning of the year when MF was a bit lower and residual at 55.. this calculation was with $1000 rebate and it was possible to get more incentives depending on the conditions.. Not sure what his sales tax is in NY but i used 4% as the variable since online it says its between 4-8.85%

I think you need to post the rest the numbers for it to make sense.

Actual negotiated sale price?
Any positive equity?
Any MSD?
Total Cost Due at signing?

It was in November so has exactly 0 bearing on where a deal would occur today.

Your number is meaningless without the above info.

That's a good deal. When did you order? Must've been when residual was higher.

The lease deals were horrid for me when I bought it a week ago so I just financed.

0.9% interest is pretty good

Great idea as if the car shortages keep on going, VRoom will offer you more than you paid for it in a year. We M2 Comp owners are getting cash offers for more than our msrp for 2 year old vehicles. Many are taking the money as they got to drive for free for 1-2 years.

This is very accurate. My father just sold a 2015 F150 XLT for 34,500 to one of the online dealers..... He paid about 38k and put 95k miles on it.... Crazy times indeed....

My 2016 low mileage Ram Power Wagon just got a Vroom offer for its actual msrp. That means zero depreciation for 5 years. I’m not selling but, damn.

$125,795
Negotiated Sales Price: $113,215 (10% off) + $3500 in incentives
0.00083 MF
53% Residual

No positive equity, no money down, first payment only for drive off.

I'm assuming the 10% discounts are gone and the residual has gone down slightly/MF up. However, hiring a lease broker was the best decision I ever made.

This is similar to my deal from when I ordered in January. Brokers are a good way to get a good deal.

I've paid more for brokers and the time and general hassle savings has been more than worth it for me.
