Good deal x5 45e

Is this a good deal?

5% off MSRP off a custom build.
Then another 5% off because of rebates / incentives?

Also, dealership is offering 1.9% interest rate instead of 0.9%. Thoughts on this? They said they're allowed to.

Nowadays in many areas that is a great deal since they are selling at MSRP. Allocations are very low so that may be about the best you can get for this MY.

I would try and squeeze them for another 1 or 2% and try to get the base .9% financing.

Dealers are allowed to mark it up and the extra interest goes to them. Just like when the mark up the money factor on a lease.

This! The finance guy gave me 1.9 and said wow I haven't seen anyone get this low of a rate. I don't care as I'll pay off the loan in short order. I only financed to get the rebate....

This is why relationships are important. If they pull that bugger at me. I will walk out quick.

Serious question. How does one know about the dealer invoice price?

There's some more information somewhere in the forums so you can get a more accurate number, but about 6% below MSRP seems to line up with invoice. Not perfect by any means, but it's a good number to keep in mind for negotiating.

Nice enough guy but I would not let him sell me anything except the wheel and tire (includes cosmetic damage) since I am running the 22 inch black rims.

I believe they are still using the calculations they switched to in 2017:

BMW US Invoice Pricing calculation
Base vehicle US MSRP (from pricing sheets) multiplied by 0.93
+ MACO fee $500.00 (flat rate applied to all dealers)
= Base vehicle US BMW invoice price

To figure the invoice price of your BMW as configured add -
+ Option and packages (anything you can add to the vehicle) multiplied by 0.92
+ Training fee of $180.00
+ Destination and handling charge - Currently $995
= Total vehicle invoice price +/- $10.00

BMW has also increased the holdback from 5 percent of vehicle base cost to 5 percent of the sticker price. I do not know all of the details on that program.
