Another issue with the ventilated seats, they tend to shut off after a while and shut off if you leave the car briefly - run into a store without shutting off the car, come back and the ventilation is off.

Also, for whatever reason, you can turn on both ventilation and heating at the same time, and at first it's not totally obvious in the menu.

I think the BMW (and Porsche) ventilated seats are mediocre at best.
I prefer the option of cooling, not just ventilating.

Are the ventilated seats part of a package or a separate one-off option? I don't expect miracles from them as they are 'ventilated' seats not cooling seats.
