Hey X5 gang,

New X5 owners. Just purchased a '21 40i M Sport.

What mods should I be looking at to add to the aggressive look?

Already did tints, PPF, Ceramic Coating, and reflector deletes.

If your car doesn't already have it, blacked out front grill, amber reflector delete, and a front lip will really set the car off.

The rear diffuser is nice and I'm gonna get a smoked headlight PPF on mine when I get the front and bonnet PPF'd.

I'd say for me personally what made a huge difference is the front lip, rear carbon m performance diffuser and side ailerons and the rear X5M spoiler, also some spacers for a wider track.

Thanks guys! They're 795M style 22" wheels, not sure where in the US you can get them, worth a look online. I got them in grey and repainted them in cerium.

Unfortunately the company I got mine from doesn't ship

Doesn't HRE have a design similar to those wheels at a reasonable price. Some X5 members here have the HRE wheels.

essential yet may be impossible due to local laws. I believe the rear privacy windows are already ~20%, but we can't go lower than 35% where I live

True, however, a lot of states will no longer pull a vehicle over if the only violation is equipment related. Basically, you gotta be speeding to get pulled, then they can write a tint ticket in my state. Also, in my state a front license plate is required by law, but man they ruin the front of the x5. When I get a new X5 I'm not installing the front plate AND I'm installing illegal tint. It will look so much better.

Agreed by one who went with legal and considering getting redone. My ride is murdered black but having those front windows lighter than the rears bug me every time I walk back to it in the parking lot! My bigger concern is not getting pulled over (neighbor deputy sheriff said they don’t waste time on that) but getting inspected. Need to find a tint friendly shop I guess.

Rookie question......which specific part was it to get the side mirrors with the extra inward arm/piece??

Well the "true" M style mirrors are 2 part, with the inner part (black on the photo) and the outer white cap part.

However on mine I just got the mirror cap, I personally like the thinner top part. (The cerium ones)

@Mr.Pringle In the U.S. (should be same gloabally) the 795M wheel is a 20" wheel used on the 3 series mostly.

Are your wheels BMW wheels or aftermarket; assume AM replica's? They are really good . . . like a few others just looking for more detail. Cheers.

Hey, I got my repainted, impossible to find cerium M ones, just find a good paint guy he'll do the trick!
