RG Sport - MSS Urban Adjustable Ride System for G05 X5 | G06 X6

Guys,

It is finally almost here.
Got my test set installed yesterday.

Initial feedback with the test set, it rides good (I would say better than stock) and lowers about 40mm all around once settled. (Number may be different between 40i, 50i, and M50i, and suspension options).

I know bunch of you been waiting for this.
As much as I want to get it out to you guys, I would like to have more miles before I can start bringing in the production batch.

In the meantime, feel free to PM me if you are interested to be put into the waiting list and for pricing inquiry (forum policy, can't post pricing).
I will update once it is available for order.

I know most of you guys will skip reading and go straight to the pictures.
So, here they are.

List of mods in this car:
- AutoTecknic F95 X5M Fender Trim w/ Carbon Fiber inserts
- AutoTecknic F95 X5M Side mirror cover retrofit w/ Carbon Fiber caps
- H&R 15/20 wheel spacers
- BMC Air Filter
- BMW F95 X5M Roof Spoiler

Oh hello 749M, rarely see them on X5s and especially in hi-res. Thank you for sharing and especially the suspension mod updates!

Someone please explain why these would be better than just going with H&R springs.
Is this MSS product better than Springs in some way?
What is MSS able to do that H&R cant?

Any lowering you do will affect shock/strut life. Is there a way to quantify amount the days of life? No, but most accept there is going to be some effect to shocks/struts.

Adjustable height and helper springs. Depending on what you value, both are a pretty big deal.

RG Sport - MSS Urban Adjustable Ride System for G05 X5 | G06 X6

Would these fit a G05 40i xdrive? What's the price and availability? How much drop vs. H&R springs and diy or a shop would need to do this? Very very interested as I was about to email you for H&R springs.

Also, would it matter if I'm the future I move to 22" wheels and tires? Would I need any fender molding or such?

Yes, it will fit G05 X5 40i.
It is almost ready.
Based on the last week testing, it can go as low as 1.5".
DIY-able is depending on your skill.

Ride wise, IMO it is better than H&R.

Price wise, I was informed that it will be the same as F95/F96 X5M/X6M kit. But, not 100% yet.
Unfortunately, I can't post pricing in discussion thread per forum policy.
But, feel free to PM me if you are interested to be on the waiting list.

Interesting that for the regular X5's the front setup doesn't need the helper spring like the X5M does.

1.5" for the X5 40i or X5 M50i? The M50i sits lower to start and most of us want that 1.5" on the M50i.
