M50i is cool as hell but not only is it more expensive it also uses a lot more gas. I think it would be a lot of fun to drive, but it's hard to justify

Dude, I'm driving a '21 M50i that stickered at 85K. I could not imagine loading a 40i with a bunch of fluff to 86K and not getting the M50i.

To each their own I guess. I personally appreciate all of the options I have in my F15 every day and couldn't imagine ordering a G05 with base leather and no executive package, 22" wheels etc. Either way whichever model I end up ordering will be pretty well optioned. If things remain the same for MY2022 then it will likely me an M50i at just over 100k

Hilarious, a guy who has no need for "soft close doors" is branded a He-Man, great stuff. I spec'd and order my M50i with carbon fiber and a wheel option. Absolutely, positively, 100% happy with the vehicle and my choice. It has more standard equipment than I really need and runs like a scalded dog. Should get a little kick in the ass when I get the JB4 up and running. Fun stuff for sure but I guess a near 550HP TT V8 is not for everyone.

Yes, dealers were told last month that the release of the guides has been delayed until sometime in June.

Yup, I heard from multiple dealers the guides would out in 6 weeks - that was 5ish weeks ago so should be next week or the next
