It is out for G05/G06/G07 and on-the-ball dealers may have it. But only way to know about yours is to ask them. Might want to do that ahead of time, since if they choose to update their setup to accommodate you, it's a big download and takes dealers 1-2 days to get it in and set up.

I think @ifr installed 11/2020 so it should be available. But not in all dealerships. So better ask if it is otherwise you might be update to 07/2020. |

Have my car in for a couple of warranty issues as well as 12 month checkup and first oil change.
To address a small login issue I had experienced that they could not resolve by any other means, they ended up installing 11/2020.36. So even though I was one of the first people in Canada to get the 11/2019.70 OTA update, apparently the car would not install 07/2020.54 due to the oil change notice, and as a result of fortuitous timing, I now have the (current) latest available integration level even though I didn't ask for it... ;-) Any way, to address the OP question, it looks like Toronto dealers have the latest software available now.

From what happens with some of the older vehicles (and it may still be true for the new ones), when the dealer hooks it up to their diagnostic computer, the software is actually coming from the server fed from Germany. On older ones, the coding is customized for the individual modules and options in the vehicle...IOW, it's not a single block of code. This may or may not be how it still is, but this is for history on how it was done. That may also be why they don't just send out a blanket version for every vehicle and let them download it...what you may be getting is potentially unique to your vehicle, and it may need to be built (of standard modules, I'd assume) so all of your options work correctly. It may just be the selection of the numerous software switches.

Dealers now use ISTA+ with a 'large' programming data set that covers almost all model of recent vehicles. This is made available for download to local dealerships on an unknown prioritised schedule.
ISTA+ (app, diagnostic databases, programming data) can be updated with delta files or as a whole. ISTA+ assess the car's current i-step and FA to determine what modules need to be programmed. It then produces a 'plan' to: 1) Program the target ECUs 2) Code the programmed ECUs against the FA, sometimes non-programmed ECU are coded too 3) Import any needed FSC 4) Perform a number of reset and post programming diagnostic checks |

@ifr
I tried coding this morning ASLA and TLR on my 3 series with the 11/2020 update. I can now see the traffic light options in idrive, but it wont actually work. when i did the coding there were a few things missing, that may be the issue 1)DSC_VIP C_SLA_VORAUSSCHAU_LAND_ACTIV i only have that option with _erweitert at the end and there is no drop down for 0xFFFFFFFF 2)SAS3 i dont have mapped drop downs for C_SLA_UCC_LAND_AKTIV C_SLA_AUCC_LAND_AKTIV I'm using the latest version of esysx |

Worth coding for belt and braces where you can, but dont worry about it if missing. TLA 100% wont work without the UCC land masks, but aSLA should. |

A few questions 1) do you need to have the self driving engaged for it to work? 2) I noticed sometimes it gives a sound when the light turns green and other times not 3) is it supposed to start driving on green, or only notify via a sound? |
