You are misreading that, you definitely can get the Air Suspension on the M60i.

Edit: I just saw he edited his post that he couldn't add it. My guess is that will be changed in the future but we will see.

Looks great. I thought that the sunroof is a standard feature?

He is from the Czech Republic, options and features vary by country. In the US the sunroof is standard.

Steering Wheel

We've now all seen the videos (
) ...Didn't see any M Performance Steering Wheel options in Alcantara on the pricing guides like shown in the video. I like this wheel!

Anyone have any thoughts on availability in the US on the M60i?

Performance parts aren't listed in the pricing guide but to answer your question I have not seen anything yet as to US availability. What is shown looks like the steering wheel cover so you can order that from the store.

Why isn’t BMW using the new steering wheel yet? This 2017 steering wheel looks so dated (I know bc I stare at it daily).

I am pretty sure all these M Performance parts are accessories that need to purchased and installed after the vehicle is delivered. So, you will not see them in the pricing guides.

??? LCI models are always more refined and kinks worked out. The s68 is a "new" motor, but its just an upgrade to the S63 in every way.

The new 40i LCI is going to be fantastic with the B58 finally getting port and direct dual injection which BMW has never done.

Its pure refinement and upgrades for LCI, its not a new model.
Reliability will go up.

As numerous folks have pointed out before, you are incorrect on this point. It is a new engine not an upgrade to an existing one.

Agree, I want the steering wheel from the X1, it’s so much nicer. A little crazy the entry level is superior.

Let’s cut through the crap and shine some common sense on what BMW is really doing here:

This is about emissions and designing a ICE and electric engine to cohabitate together in a bastardized union. This is not about making a higher performance engine for the customer.
The rest is a public relation spin on why BMW is using a S designation for all their engines now. Not to hard to read between the lines BMW is doing this to save money making a “S engine” no more special than a “N engine” or what ever letter they are now choosing to designate this new mild hybrid engine platform to meet a new European emission standard.
This is smoke and mirrors trying not to piss off hard core M buyers.
For the customer this also means if any malfunction between the electric engine, now in the transmission or ICE, the vehicle is now bricked “DRIVETRAIN MALFUNCTION” for even the most minor fault. The take away is now you have a significantly more complicated engine to meet newer emission standards. This might be worth beta testing this way over complicated hybrid ICE engine if you actually got 100-150hp more performance over its pure ICE engine it was replacing but you’re not and that is a huge issue. The customer will be putting up with technical issues they never had before all in the name of newer European emission standards.
A true pure BMW internal combustion engine is now gone while BMW is spinning the new hybrid “S engine” as a “enhanced driving experience” for everyone now. .

The problem with the ordering system has been fixed. Orders for the M6oi with the MSport pro package and air suspension now go through.

I’ve never experienced anything like this on my X7 with IAS.

Now that people are getting in line for allocations and filling the order banks I’m curious as to what discounts dealers have agreed to for the M60i -?

Who’s gotten the most off MSRP?

Starting bid= -$1,000

I've read somewhere that the Red Calipers are backlogged and only blue can be ordered. Is this true? If so, is it for the 50e or all models including the M60i? Any knowledge that can be shared about this specific to the M60i would be appreciated. (Kind of a big deal for me)

Red Calipers have been removed from all models. (see my other post about the codes)
