Be interesting to see how the shocks fare over the longer term with these softer springs. HAS kits didn't work too well on the M2/M3/M4.

When will H&R USA have it here?
They annouced VTF at the same time as MSS, but H&R USA still doesn't have any ETA of it.

I would love to offer other solutions if they are available, since no one seems to be able to fulfill their promises lately.

I love my MSS but will H&R offer a 'lower' more aggressive drop?

Doubt it.
Because stock shock length will be the limitation.
To go much lower, full coilover would be the solution.

Yes... i have the same problem.
Ever time i veer right there is a pop noise that sounds like a small rock bouncing off the tire.
It turns out to be a problem in the rear suspension and has been reported in various models.. something is loose. I'm having it fixed by the dealership on the 24th Jan.

So this knocking/popping is a factory suspension issue or something related to the MSS springs?

Was the sound there before or after the MSS springs?

Right now my X5MC is stock and I have not noticed any popping/knocking sounds from the rear at all and I have about 7K miles on my car.

Would definitely love to hear if other owners with the MSS springs installed hear this sound.

Please note:
The popping sound has nothing to do with the MSS Springs as i do not have the springs installed yet.
The popping sound is cause by something in the suspension slipping. This is also common in other models of BMW and the dealership can fix it.

My issue didn’t happen prior to the mss install. It could be a coincidence or part of the issue. Gonna get the springs looked at again to make sure they are seated properly and then get alignment. Hopefully that solves it

MMS install tomorrow

Hi Gents. Springs arrived today and going on tomorrow. I'll take before and after as well. Will for certain be listening for any snap, crackle, pop.

My F85 did develop a pop in the front when turning all the way left with H&R springs. So annoying.

Just go the mms springs installed. Looks awesome and ride is way better than the HnR vtf. But issue got a chassis code that popped up take to dealer. So what could be causing that? Over bumps at speed the rear seemed to have play side to side.

At dealer now. Going to diagnose at $145. Think it's fair I give the bill to the shop that lowered it?

Keep us posted.

I guess it depends what caused the issue if it was install error or not.

I have a set of MSS on order and I can not stand any noises from suspension mods.

Installed mine yesterday so drove only for a day now (around 100 miles).
So far no noises and am pleased with results.
The only issue I'm having so far is doing a "proper" wheel alignment.
Meaning any wheel alignment shop can get their computer to show all Zeros and say it's aligned, but so far, 2 shops said it would be a lie. So trying to find someone who can "actually" align it truthfully.
