I’ve just got my hands on a G05, I’ve been playing with BimmerCode and have run into a few things I’m struggling with.

The M layout was coded however the top logo was “3.0 CSL” or something I tried to change it however i just ended up removing it all together without a logo. Furthermore, the street names are off Center.

The RPMs cannot be activated on the HUD either now I’m wondering if anyone has tried coding them in? I saw an example of it on the x3 forums but I wanted to run it by and see if anyone knows more before I mess something up.

My last question is regarding the “sporty exhaust” I coded it on my Idrive but am unable to click any of the options. I think I may have done something incorrectly. Hoping to get some clarity for this if anyone has any knowledge on this.

Edit this to change logo LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG
Did you code change the layout coding? That maybe the one affecting the navigation. Restore original coding data and start afresh.

You can try to code the RPM. You can always restore the default coding data.

You cant select the options in any drive mode?

Yes, I changed the instrument cluster to the M style. But I think it needs some fine tuning to make it perfect.

I might give it a shot, I was told by someone you need an additional module or something for it to work hence I asked.

No, I am unable to select anything at all. However the options are there. Like I can change drive modes but I can’t open my exhaust flaps or close them which is annoying

Look for m Track module. I dont know if that is what you are talking about

So, the instrument cluster part does work fine, the heads up display does not show the RPMs, I have it on my idrive and I can select the M View however it’s not appearing.
The instructions were great but I am not sure why it won’t appear.

Same here, M layout used to just bring the M logo, now I see a 3.0csl logo. You can select a new logo in instrument cluster:

3001 KI_PARAMETER
LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG
MSP_LOGO

Only issue is the msp is blank for me, I had to select x5m which gives that logo. Better than 3.0csl though haha
