I'm amazed at the discount in the Chicagoland area best I could do was around 6% discount in Central Florida dealers refuse to go lower then invoice: Now the excitement and anxiety as you sit in queue and wait for your build and delivery! Did you get a build week? |

Thanks, yeah they started off at 3%, then the best I was getting was around 6% which is invoice. I ended up contacting 21 different dealerships and was actually surprised when this one got up to 9.2%. Had a few just voluntarily drop out of the running because I was asking for 10% right off the bat and they thought that was impossible. No build week yet, sales guy should be emailing me with all the info sometime today. |

Agreed August incentives were terrible/non-existent for the 2020, which is to be expected I guess. Hopefully they release something next month as 2019 inventory starts to diminish. |

Then whichever dealerships responded over email I told them exactly what I was looking for. They would then either counter or simply drop out. So most of the negotiations were done before I ever stepped into a dealership. Ultimately a dealership just 40 minutes away from me offered the winning bid. |

hi!! so being that i am a woman, I usually like to bring my older brother or father with me when i buy a car, I just feel like dealers will take me more seriously BUT! this time i decided to go alone. I went to see a sales guy who was recommended to me by one of my co-workers. I was planning on ordering a new X5 but the sales guy said he had a similar one in stock, it was a little more expensive but i he could get me a better deal and i did not have to wait a month to get it. please let me know how i did, i want to make sure im getting a good deal before i tell my parents.
If i custom order it. 10% off window sticker price plus any bmw "rebates" I qualify for and if i do multiple security deposits i get 35 point off of the money factor (please let me know if this is a good or bad idea as well) if i take one instock, same deal as order but 11% instead of 10%. also, he said most people pay tax and fee's upfront. is that true? please help me |

- 10% off a 2020 custom build with little to no negotiation is unbelievably amazing - Multiple security deposits are almost always a good idea, just make sure it brings your money factor down to 0.00110 - The only thing you should be paying up front are fees and any applicable taxes (pretty minimal), first month's payment, and the security deposits |

What I've seen) 7-8%, this is the first time I've seen 10%! Hopefully he doesn't try to pull a fast one and say he meant 2019 not 2020!

So according to this it looks like $1250 loyalty applies to 2020 too?

The MSDs will probably get you a return of 7+% which make them a good deal, I did 7 of them. Make sure you are getting the base MF to start with since many dealers try to mark it up. It really depends on what you want to do as far as paying down. I paid all taxes and fees upfront but either way it is not much a of financial difference. |

so i just called to verify this with him and yes he said it would be 10% off a 2020 custom build (same deal he gave my friend when she ordered they ordered their x5) and the money factor is .00110. If the X5 is not changing much and i could get a better deal. i think im going to go for 11% on a 2019 so i dont have to wait and extra month! |

You can roll all of them into your payment, just sign the contract and drive away. Ive brokered numerous deals with BMW and other brands, dealers just want money upfront so they don't have to wait to be funded by the bank. 10% is good anyway you look at it. I would order it the way you want and call it a day. considering theres only a $1250 rebate and 58% residual, it wont get any worse.

Hi, I'm looking to lease a 2020 X5 40i Only options I truly need are M sport package with the m sport brakes. With the 2019s, msrp is around 70. Can some point me in the direction of a dealer that would give me a great deal. Need 36/18k. Hoping to stay under $850

Taxes may or may not be minimal, depending on state of residency, and preference to pay up front or roll it in. For me, there's no risk to paying them up front, as if something results in a total loss on the car, the net difference should come back to me. Why pay extra interest on the tax, is my take. Quote:
