RIP John McCain

Politics aside, you had to have respect for that man.

A life of service to his country.

He did the right thing, a big thumbs down, before exiting to the promise land. “Leave no one behind”, Thank you John!...You will be missed.

This is pretty sad.

Talk trash about him all you want. It won’t take away the fact that John McCain was an authentic American hero. Rip.

A man of admirable courage and integral intensity who walked the walk, and fought until the end. He stood up for what he believed regardless of the costs and paid for it many times in the political environment.

He refused to be released sooner than his fellow POWs because his dad was an admiral...the wounds he suffered as a POW through torture prohibited him from even brushing his own hair for the last 50 years.

A man of class, and a true leader. Our inventory of these men is shrinking, and we will miss him. God bless him and his family.

RIP.

I thought he always was one of the most sympathetic republicans.
I always liked his non-conformism. That trait has always shown in everything he accomplished or did.

Didn't vote for him, didn't like his policy choices, but there really isn't anyone else I respect more in the politics world than Senator McCain. He was truly an american hero. He did what he felt was right for his country and gave it all he's got. More leadership in his little finger than most of our current leaders.

I am saddened by our loss.

IMO other than his time as a POW I think pundits will realize that McCain failed to show the leadership so many expected of him at crucial times in US history. I have a few instances in mind.
