Is it possible to order a G05 at this point since the dealers have allocations? I've bought a bunch of BMWs, just trust the folks here over my sales guy.

Yes you can. But we have no pricing or final options list. We are hoping to have that next week.

Spoke with two dealers I have a long relationship with and neither have any information or allocation available. One is the largest volume dealer in the area and said they do not even have any information on them so cannot reserve allocation or even tell me anything about them.

Thank you. Let's see if I can get a slot on a 50i. Any build sheet or option menus available yet?

I wouldn't mind a road trip this fall to check out the NH fall foliage if you can offer an aggressive deal on an MSport X5 40i! I would also need you to make a great offer on a slightly used 2018 X3 M40i!!

Email just sent to my dealer about grabbing an allocation. I’ll let everyone know how they respond.

I can understand some dealers turning the blind eye to G05 allocations when they have F15s they still need to move.

Dealer answer is they can order in July and offered me the first allocation. They expect October production and November delivery.

So I should know more in a month. Going to try to do a PCD.

I see you’re in Minneapolis. Are you working with Motorwerks?

I was in your situation when the F15s came out. I got one of their first allocations. I placed my order in mid August, my car was built in mid September, and I did PCD in early November.

Last time around, there was a delay with certification so that many forum members had cars built, but they couldn’t be delivered to the dealer or picked up at the Performance Center. I wouldn’t be shocked if something similar happens with the G05s.

I’m still enjoying my F15, so I think I’ll wait a bit for the G05.

Good luck!

The one I have incoming doesn't go into production until the second week of Sept.

Dealers I spoke with are heavily discounting '17 X5M that are new and leftover. We're in June and they still have '18 on the lot too but not too eager to discount those.

In one of the videos on the 2019 reveal, one of the announcers said the hybrid X5 would come out later than November release for the gas and diesel versions. Has anyone else seen that confirmed or have additional info?

My X5 40e is coming off lease mid-November, and I had thought I was timing this perfectly!

IMO - the real reason to wait is the 2020 motor upgrade!

Because we love cars and new toys. All part of the craziness. Then coming to this forum and solving the gremlins.
