Can confirm the loss of leather credit. I just got back from my dealer as well, here is an updated pricing guide: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...7#post23886447

Has anyone really come across a good explanation of the difference between m adaptive and 2 axle air? I have not seen one other than "opinions". I ordered m sport with m adaptive and I gotta think it has to be better than my 2016 x5 standard suspension..

Note on the air suspension with M Sport, you have add 4UB (3rd row seating) If you don't order the off road package which you can't do with M Sport, you have to order the 3rd row seat which makes no F-ing sense. If I wanted an fricken 3rd row I would wait and get an X7. To make people have to get it is the dumbest thing I've seen.

I could be wrong, but the new update (10/15) looks like it changes the requirement for 3rd row seating in order to get 2-axle air. The rule is one of the deleted rules.

Thanks, maybe I misread. Looking at the 10/15 guide (someone posted it on the Price/guide sticker thread).
2VH Integral Active Steering
In combination with ZDH
In combination with ZHC
Included in package
2VH requires ordering 2VR, ZHC or ZOR
2VH requires ordering 2VR, ZDH, ZHC or ZOR
2VR 2-axle air suspension
In combination with 4UB
In combination with ZHC
In combination with ZOR
Included in package
2VR and not 4UB requires ordering ZCV or ZMP 2VR and ZMP requires ordering 4UB or ZHC 2VR and ZMP requires ordering ZHC

Trying to follow these rules is kind of like reading a Chose Your Own Adventure Book.

I agree, it's a little crazy. I read this sentence as:

1. 2VR and not 4UB requires ordering ZCV or ZMP
2. 2VR and ZMP requires ordering 4UB or ZHC
3. 2VR and ZMP requires ordering ZHC

Which seems to suggest 3rd row seating (4UB) is not required with M-Sport (ZMP) as long as the comfort handling package (ZHC), which includes active steering and 2-axle air, is ordered.

Updated rules without decipher key :-)

ZHC requires ZMP
3rd row isn't required but if you need 3rd row, ZHC is $150 less.

Odd that with all that you can't just add the off road package which would give you the console controls and the M Sport differential. (Why M Sport differential not part of the M Sport package??) Just wait another month and everything will change again I'm sure.

They are pretty set on no off-road package with msport. I tried every which way from Sunday to get them to change this. I don't expect that to change for a few years if at all.

Maybe the underbody parts conflict with the M Sport body kit. So how does the air suspension work if you can't select any modes or raise/lower on your own since the only way to get the center console controls is in the off road package?

Models with the Air Suspension still get one lever to adjust the height, you just don't get the X-mode option lever to change those modes.

I too am interested to hear reviews on what the actual real world difference will be between the suspension that comes with the M-Sport package and the Air Suspension. Like others, I was disappointed you can't get Offroad with M-Sport in the US, since M-Sport is non-negotiable for me, but after thinking about my normal driving, I would use the Offroad maybe once-twice a year, if even that. Just glad we will have the Air Suspension as an option.

No conflict as it's available in the rest of the world just not the US. The center console control will be there, just that it will only be one instead of two switches

I called bmw genius today and they indicated i could get the two axle air but would be required to order the off road package. they also indicated i would have to have the dynamic handling package also. my dealer is getting different answers so i ask him to just see if he could add the offroad package and see if they take it.
m sport 50i with all the boxes checked.

Most of the documents from this forum are not meant to open for the public unless you go to a dealership and ask for the ordering guide. The December options are not available and can't be seen on the website yet, and that's why BMW Genius Line won't tell you anything about the so called comfort package with air suspension.

Do we know if the two axle suspension along with dhp is being offered to other country's. I am wondering if there is a conflict with the design aspects of dhp and the air suspension making it impossible to coexist .

BMW X7 have air suspension and dhp. This is the same chassis design. I think BMW specially limits options in X5, in order to buy expensive X7

I believe it's only the US that has the restriction. Corporate is unwilling to budge on this

So after test driving an Xline 40i this weekend, I was surprised by how well the G05 handled compared to my F30 328i with M-Sport. With all the debate raging about DHP and Air Suspension, I was expecting it to feel like a boat, but it handled really well for the type of driving I normally do. I’m honestly now thinking about not ordering the Comfort Handling Package, especially since others have said that the Air Suspension feels looser and not quite as firm.

In my country,Luxembourg, the M sport can be configured with the air suspension and the off road pack and the 4 wheel steering. When you choose the M professional suspension (what I assume you guys name DHP) you'll automatically loose the air suspension but keep the 4 wheel steering. I've tried this on my m50d where I can either have air suspension + 4 wheel steering OR M professional + 4 wheel steering. If I choose (on m50d) the air suspension, I only get 1 button on the console to change the height. The off road changes are available only in the idrive menu, not directly through the 2nd button. To me that is a bit ridiculous since the console is the same and the off road options are available in the menu.
To make all things more confusing, on the configurator, even in the M professional pack, you'll see the picture with the two buttons :-) but you won't actually get any...
I say saving where you shouldn't. I know marketing always pushes the limits but I've seen so far (at launch) travel system for the trunk (not available at launch), B&W (not available at launch), alcantara liner (not available at launch)...etc. Which is rather annoying. I just hope I won't get other delays...already chose on purpose a Dec build to get some extra options...don't want a new car one year after order.
