Warranty's are extremely important to me. Is there any way to buy an extended warranty from BMW? I don't want just 2 years on a 2020 M50I, I'd like a minimum four.

Can't really find any hard information on whether or not this is possible.

It is possible. BMW will sell you a warranty . CPO will add 1 year unlimited miles, but that can be extended as well. You will pay for it though. I believe to add a year to my CPO when I bought it would have been $5k. So you have to weigh whether that is worth it for you or not.

Like thholr said, yes you can buy extended warranties from BMW or third parties at almost anytime during your ownership. GOLFFRR posted a while back that his BMW dealership offered a discount on extended BMW warranties if you contacted them and stated you were recommended from Bimmerpost. You can write her at cnewman at stevethomasbmw dot com or call 805-482-8878 You can explore the different types of warranties offered, some with and some without deductibles. Keep in mind that they all start after the factory warranty ends.

you must purchase before the warranty runs out. There are some situations where you may be able to still acquire after but you will need to talk to Christine about that as I am not sure of the exact terms.
