BC: Reset Impossible

I did my brake fluid flush and oil change on my x5 g05 xdrive 40i 2019, was able to reset the brake fluid in diagnostic mode but the one for the oil says "Reset Impossible".

My date/time are current and I also had the engine oil measurement ran successfully, says at max. I also drove a bit and tried again, same message.

Any idea how to reset it?

Thanks!

I'll answer my own question. Spent $36 for the BimmerLink app which supports resetting engine oil service and set new service due in 1 year.

I did it myself. I bought a fluid extractor, bleeder pump and bottle and got the brake fluid from my BMW dealer (including the engine oil/filter). The cap on mine says DOT 4 which was verified also by the dealer.

For the instructions I followed some YouTube BMW videos. For me, the most difficult is dismounting/mounting the wheels as I misplaced my wheel hanger alignment pin.

Great. Thanks I might just have an indy shop to do it if it isnt crazy expensive.
