Options for lowering my X5MC ?

I want to close the gap in the wheel arch by lowering my X5MC but still keeping my 818s. Has anyone lowered a X5MC F95, any pics, specs, hardware used (lowering springs or coilovers) or advise would be greatly appreciated

Put MSS on mine last week. Very happy thus far. Call Ben @ RG Sport

IMO, car looks weird w/o spacers once it's lowered. I have new wheels coming in 2 weeks otherwise, I'd have spacers on it now.

I wish I could call RG Sport I see so many people using them but I’m in Australia. Over here no one is quoting MSS only H&R which I have no feedback on or KW which is over 12k here, how many inches is the maximum on the MSS ? Has anyone gone bigger than 22 inch rims ? If so what size ?

Contact MSS and request a vendor list for your area or ask if they will ship direct.

20 mm Rear will also fit. I ran them when I had my stock set up.

Do you have a link for the MSS website ?

Did you need the spacers to lower or just to give it a wider stance ?

No I don't. Recommend getting them through r33_RGSport or reach out to MSS directly via instagram. The spacers are only to give it the flush look but without any spacers lowered on OEM wheels it will look very weird.

Yo, that looks legit. Can we get some more pics to show off how the wheels look with spacers and the fender?

I just wanted to say thanks to all on here for the advice, finally got my X5MC lowered on Friday, thanks to Ben for reaching out with the MSS in the end I had to get KW adjustable springs and I went with 15mm/20mm spacers keeping the original 818s. It so awesome that you get great advice on Bimmerpost, thanks to all.

Let us know how you like the KW. I may be going with that this time on the X5M/C around over the MSS or possibly the H&R static spring set but haven't seen any photos of it except on a couple of vehicles and no real reviews.

Yes, you must let us know about the KW setup.

For example, how long did it take you to get them? When I tried to order them around April, they were at a 3-4 month waiting period. That was after I waited a month and called KW-California directly. So I canceled and went with the MSS kit from Ben and had it in a week on my porch. Let us know how they are.

Speaking to some X5MC owners in Melbourne they had issues with H&R so i stayed away, I couldn't find anyone with MSS in Melbourne, Ben from R&G was kind enough to offer to send to Australia but cost blew out once I added duty etc.

Through recommendations I went to Prestige Auto Works (anyone in Melbourne Australia don't take your car anywhere else besides these guys) and luckily they were able to get the adjustable springs in a week and got them fitted last Thursday.

Its only been a week but so far so good, not much difference in ride comfort from stock besides feeling lower in the car, great cornering especially at speed and looks so sweet compared to stock.

If something changes I will definitely post it.

Any bounce on dips or sponge like feeling on turns at speed? How does spring rate compare to factory? Spring binding, knock or rattles?

On the MSS the car feels better than stock. No dips or sponge like feeling, just a little more planted to the ground. This is how the thing should come from the factory. Love it, 10/10.
