2024 X5 x40i Rear Valance Swap

I just swapped out the rear valance on my 2024 X5. It was grey and I swapped it with a matte black color. I decided to just order one and I purchased from IND Distribution since I've ordered from them before and was pleased with the service and products.

The install was fairly easy, as there was no need to remove the bumper at all. There are six screws on the bottom of the valance and two grommets. The top of the valance doesn't have screws, but just clips. It took about 25 minutes.

Nice. Can you post a link to the product? Also, any plans to convert the exhaust tip housings?

Looks great. I had removed the valance and applied carbon vinyl. Also removed the fake exhaust tips and installed sleeves (Mine is a 50i with quad tips)

Nice, I hate that the piece is silver by default. It just looks cheap

Nice! I swiped mine with a non-Xline cover, which is bare plastic black, but without those bumps all over.

That looks much better. I will search, but do you have the part number or a link?

I was going to get mine color matched, but that works very well.

As you can see, I also have the exhaust tips powder coated black, which makes all these pieces come together really well
Here is the Part No.: 51-12-7-469-520

Interesting that this part number shows the drawing of the X-Line valence. Also says only fits pre-LCI, but the X-Line valence shows it fits all G05.

Yes, I've noticed the drawings, but if you search deeper, you'll see the correct pictures. It's the right part number, I copied from my order. Not sure about LCI, but I don't see why it'd be different

It's black, the same as other unpainted black pieces on the non m-sport trim, like wheel arches, etc.

I swapped with non-OEM gloss black rear valance/diffuser. Only ~$100 from Amazon but overall quality and fit are way better than expectation.

Assuming you are asking about the additional lower diffuser including the wings - if so, yes, but only the wings not the central part as it doesn't line up with X Line bumper.
