That's a perfectly sized grill to do a BBQ for a small family

Take the x3 and make everything 30% bigger and its the x5. No surprise there. It'll have the g30 interior too just with a steering wheel for a school bus

If you guys don't like the new x3 Design you will probably be disappointed by the new X5, based on the photos it looks totally like a x3 BIG BROTHER or maybe a mix between x3 front end and x3 tailights but the rear end remain x5-ish

Like the current model it'll be handsome and an excellent all-rounder.
But...like the current model it won't appeal to emotions outside of select M sport versions. RR Sport and Porsche Cayenne are more desirable. I suppose that's reflected in the price. |

BMW's head of design recently said that each new model will be introducing one special design feature of its own, we've already seen the twisting double character line on the 5 Series, I guess this here will be the new X5's signature. |

As so many have stated; those grills are huge. Perhaps they'll grow on me but they're standing out like a sore thumb at this point.

[Sigh] The Bimmerpost lemmings are out in full force again. Every single model refresh, people post the same, stupid crap about -
1. BMW losing their way; 2. BMW is copying [insert competitor here]; 3. He/she is so glad they bought the current model; and 4. This is the last BMW he/she will ever own. Way to go. Great insight. Thanks for contributing. See you again in ~5-6 years. Oh well. It'll probably look weird on initial reveal, then we'll get used to it, it'll grow on us, someone will put aftermarket wheels on it, and it'll become the best model year yet . |
